Job Opportunity: Office & Admin Manager / Receptionist


Are you an experienced Office & Admin Manager/Receptionist with a passion for conveyancing and a knack for keeping things running smoothly? We’re looking for a highly organised, proactive professional to join our Team at Cornerstone Conveyancing Services and play a key role in our day-to-day operations.

About the Role:

As our Office & Admin Manager/Receptionist, you’ll ensure smooth operations across administration, finance, and compliance. You’ll oversee trust accounting, financial management, and general office processes while also supporting sales administration, marketing, and settlement processes.

The role will initially be a full-time, short term role of 9 weeks (Monday 14 April 2025 to Friday 13 June, 2025), with the possibility to lead to a permanent, part-time role two to three days per week at the conclusion of the 8 week role.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Managing office administration and ensuring seamless daily operations
  • Overseeing trust accounting and financial processes in Xero
  • Handling compliance requirements and ensuring best practices
  • Assisting with payroll, invoicing, and accounts reconciliation
  • Overseeing sales admin processes, ensuring contracts and documentation are managed efficiently
  • Supporting the team in marketing, exchanges, and settlement processes
  • Implementing and refining office procedures to enhance productivity
  • Providing a professional and welcoming environment for clients and team members

What We’re Looking for:

  • Experience in a similar office/admin management role (conveyancing experience highly regarded)
  • Strong understanding of conveyancing processes (contracts, compliance, trust accounting)
  • Proficiency in Xero and experience with trust accounting software
  • Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • A positive, team-oriented attitude
